  • What is Green Cleaning?

    Green cleaning is much more than using a few chemicals that have been labeled as “green”.  Green cleaning is a system of cleaning that is less detrimental to the environment and also promotes healthy surroundings for building occupants and visitors.

    Our green cleaning program incorporates safer cleaning methods, less toxic cleaning products; more efficient cleaning equipment, packaging that has less impact on the environment, and recycled paper supplies.

    Why should you switch to green cleaning?

    Using chemicals that are less harmful to the environment also means a healthier home for you and your family.  A healthier environment also means less sickness.  In addition, green cleaning helps you to project a positive environmental image and can save you MONEY$$$

    Does someone need to be home during the service?

    No- it is completely up to you. Call Mop-Ups to discuss options.

    Is Mop-Ups hiring?

    Yes, we are always looking for motivated self starters to join our team.  Visit our employment page or call- 610-283-5532.

    Do I need to provide cleaning supplies?

    No.  Mop-Ups bring everything we would need to complete a job.  However if you have a preferred cleaning solution we would be happy to accommodate.  We are proud to use Green Seal Certified cleaning products.

    What will Mop-Ups charge to clean my house?

    The cost of cleaning depends on several factors such as location, size of home, condition, and frequency of cleanings.

    Does Mop-Ups clean on weekends?

    We will occasionally clean on Saturdays.  This can be discussed with our office as needed.

    Does Mop-Ups do 1 time cleanings?

    Yes

    Does Mop-Ups offer a referral program?

    Yes, if you refer a friend or business, you will get a 25% discount on your next clean, after the completion of the referred clients initial cleaning.

    Do you offer Move in/ move out cleanings?

    Yes

    How do I prepare before the cleaning?

    In order to give you the greatest value, we ask you to take a few minutes the night before to pick up clothes, toys, and other household items.

    At what time will your cleaning team arrive?

    Our normal work days are Monday- Friday, 7 am- 4 pm.  We try hard to put you in the same time slot each time we arrive, and will call you the day before if this should change.

    What if something is damaged while you are cleaning?

    We treat your home with the greatest care; however should damage or breakage occur while we are cleaning your home, we will make every effort to have the item repaired, or replaced if it cannot be repaired.

    What if I forget you are coming and lock you out?

    We depend on our customers to understand how important their business is to us.  We save your appointment space specifically for you and therefore turn other business away.  Our employees count on the scheduled cleanings for their income.

    If this should happen, we will charge you 50% of the scheduled cost.

    What if my cleaning falls on a holiday?

    If your scheduled cleaning falls on the observance of a major holiday, we will contact you to reschedule your service.

    What if I need to change the scheduled cleaning?

    No problem.  Please call Mop-Ups 24 hours in advance.

    Are you Insured & Bonded?

    Yes

    Can I purchase your service for someone else?

    Yes, Mop-Ups offers gift certificates.  Our gift certificates are a great idea for Mother’s Day, parents gifts or for a sick friend.  Please contact 610-283-5532 to order.

    How do I pay?

    We expect payment at time of service.  We recommend one of the following payment options:

    1. cash or check left at time of service
    2. You can use PayPal – link on our site.  PayPal accepts all major credit cards.
    3. You can mail payment to Mop-Ups Cleaning Services 89 Cherry Farm Lane, West Chester, PA 19382

    Should I put our pets outside or in the basement before you arrive?

    Mop-Ups loves your pets, however for  safety reasons we ask that you supervise your pets while we are in your home.

    What is HEPA?

    HEPA means High Efficient Particulate Air.  A HEPA vacuum filter is a throwaway, extended-,medium, dry type filter in a rigid frame having a minimum particle collection efficiency off 99.7% .
